Synthetic fibers

Synthetic fibers are synthetically produced fibers that are used throughout the textile industry.  In the lingerie sector, this group includes, for example, elastane, polyamide or polypropylene. The great advantage of such a synthetic fiber is that it produces a completely pure, strictly tested end product that promises the highest comfort for daily use. Unlike many natural fibers, synthetic fibers are subject to such stringent testing procedures that they will never cause allergic reactions or other negative effects on the skin.  Synthetic fibers from SCHIESSER are therefore completely harmless, especially for goods as close to the skin as underwear, since all materials used comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

For both day and sleepwear, SCHIESSER uses synthetically produced fibres in addition to the classic cotton fabrics.  Elastane, for example, is an integral part of the popular 95/5 series and ensures a perfect fit and maximum comfort.

SCHIESSER does not use any synthetic fibers in any of its children’s and baby products.  Here, 100% best, tested cotton ensures that even our smallest ones feel perfectly comfortable in their clothing.

This means that at SCHIESSER you can be absolutely sure that you are using only the best for your skin – whether synthetic or natural fibers!
