Tactel 

Tactel is a synthetic fiber from the polyamide family.  Compared to conventional polyamides, DuPont’s registered trademark is even softer and silkier and therefore is very popular especially in the underwear sector. SCHIESSER uses Tactel mainly in daywear, where its light weight, soft texture and excellent care properties make it the ideal fabric for fine underwear.
