Tencel
TENCEL™ is an industrially produced cellulose fibre manufactured by Lenzing AG, also known by the technical term Lyocell. Tencel is made from beech and spruce fibres and eucalyptus wood from South African plantations. This cellulose mixture is finely ground, broken down using non-toxic solvents and water, and processed into Tencel fibres in a series of manufacturing steps.
Tencel: Functional
Tencel is highly tear-resistant and has a cooling effect. The material regulates moisture build-up perfectly, ensuring that clothing and underwear remain comfortable and dry even during heavy sweating.
Thanks to its optimal temperature management, the fibre not only cools but also provides pleasant warmth when needed. The microfine structure ensures that the material adapts precisely to the conditions and needs of the body and regulates its temperature.
