Microfasern

Microfibers are part of the synthetic fibers family. The synthetically produced fibers are ultra-thin, even finer than silk fibers and are far finer than any natural fibers. For comparison: one microfiber has about one-fifth the diameter of a human hair. This ultra-fine structure has many advantages.

Moiré

Moiré (French  Moiré = watered) is an optical effect in waterline pattern.  A shiny, ribbed fabric is treated with heat and strong pressure after weaving, which gives it its interesting wave structure.  Moiré can be made of synthetic fibers as well as natural fibers, such as silk.  SCHIESSER uses the moiré look mainly for fashionable daywear, where it gives T-shirts, for example, a unique character.

Napping

Napping is a special textile process, in which rotating cylinders with tiny hooks loosen the fabric.  The roughened surface will get a fluffy feel and a very soft texture. This technique originally comes from the ‘sweat’ sector, where especially the inside of sweatpants or shirts are napped.
SCHIESSER uses napping especially in the Mix & Relax line in order to give casual loungewear a soft feel-good effect. A sweatshirt or lounge pants with napping on the inside is/are the perfect companion for pleasant, relaxing hours, especially in the winter months!

Natural fiber

Natural fiber is a collective term for vegetable, animal or mineral fiber raw materials.  SCHIESSER uses 98% pure cotton from the natural fiber sector. Besides this vegetable raw material, animal fibers like wool or silk are also used in day and sleepwear.  Mineral fibers are used for example in the form of precious mother-of-pearl buttons.

Needle waistband

It is impossible to imagine SCHIESSER mens underwear without the needle waistband!  This waistband variation is pre-cut, which means that it does not require a separate section and the waistband elastic is on the inside.  Boxer shorts, pajama pants and lounge pants thus have a particularly beautiful look, are very comfortable and keep their shape in the waistband area.  Pants models with drawstring can also be individually adapted to your own needs.

Nickel Regulations

The nickel regulations issued by the EU specify a maximum rate of release for nickel.  Already since 1994, no products may be sold that do not comply with certain standards.  Explicitly, these are goods that have direct contact with the body like jewelery, but also buttons, eyelets or zippers.

As with all the raw materials used, SCHIESSER naturally ensures that nickel-containing components are of the highest quality and comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Whether it’s fine snap fasteners in baby underwear or even the smallest decoration on a T-shirt – at SCHIESSER you can always be sure that you will feel nothing but the best quality underwear on your skin!
